Approving/Disapproving a Credit Request

SAA Functionality Only

To approve/disapprove a credit request:

  1. From the home page, verify the desired grant year is selected in the grant year drop-down menu located in the upper right portion of the SPARS window.

  2. From the home page, click the Admin Menu button in the top toolbar. The Administration Menu displays.

  3. Click the Credit Request Administration hyperlink located in the Expenditure List Administration section. The Credit Request Administration page displays.

  4. Locate the desired credit request using the fields provided. If you enter keywords into the Keywords field, you must click the Search button.

  5. Click the [view] hyperlink to the right of the desired credit request. The Cart Item Credit Request Approval page displays.

  6. Thoroughly review the Original Request table, Credit Adjusted Request table, and Reason field.

  7. Once you have completed your review of the credit request, click either the Approve or Disapprove button in the Actions section.

Approve

If you click the Approve button, an E-mail Preview page displays containing an e-mail for the subgrantee informing them that their credit request has been approved. You must click the Send E-mail button in the Actions section to send the message.

Disapprove

If you are disapproving the request, you must enter a reason in the Notes field and then click the Disapprove button. This disapproves the credit request and refreshes the Credit Request Administration page.
