The ISIP/BSIR Report for SAA

SAA Functionality Only

The Texas ISIP/BSIR Report hyperlink allows you to generate a report that includes current information on the subgrantees that have been awarded grant funding, as is applicable to the Grants Reporting Tool (GRT). The Initial Strategy Implementation Plan (ISIP) report is used for the mandatory reporting of planned expenditures of DHS grant funds within 60 days of the grant(s) being awarded. The Biannual Strategy Implementation Report (BSIR) is used to update the obligations, expenditures, and progress made on activities reported in the ISIP twice a year. Both reports are submitted to the Office of Grants and Training.

To generate an ISIP/BSIR report:

  1. From the Administration Menu, click the Texas ISIP/BSIR Report hyperlink in the Reports section. The ISIP & BSIR Reports page displays.

  2. Complete the Grant Year and Reporting Period fields by selecting the desired options from the drop-down menus provided. This enables the Region scroll box.

  3. Click to highlight the desired region in the Regions scroll box. The Subgrantees scroll box populates with options that correspond to your selections, and the Actions section displays.

  4. Select the appropriate option from the Subgrantees scroll box. If desired, you may also enter a keyword into the Subgrantee Search field and then click the Search button to further narrow your results. Subgrantees names in red text indicates that there is no available subgrantee data for the selected reporting period.

  1. Once all necessary fields have been completed, click the Report button in the Actions section. SPARS generates the report based on the criteria entered into the ISIP & BSIR Reports section.
